Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 June 2026. These terms apply to clstudio.uk and services provided by Connor Lunn trading as CL Studio (United Kingdom).
These Terms of Service apply when you use the CL Studio website at clstudio.uk or buy any of our products or services. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
About us
CL Studio is operated by Connor Lunn as an independent web design and development studio based in United Kingdom. Contact: hello@clstudio.uk.
What we offer
We provide:
- Website templates (digital downloads with a licence).
- Fixed-price website packages sold online.
- Fixed-price custom development (bots, automations, integrations).
- Bespoke web design, development, and related services by quote.
Website packages and custom development
Fixed-price website packages and custom development services are described on the Packages page. After checkout you will complete a project brief with the information we need to deliver the work. Scope is limited to what is described for that package unless we agree additional work in writing. Timelines depend on brief completion, feedback, and agreed scope.
Quotes and bespoke work
Larger or bespoke projects are agreed in a written quote before work starts. Quotes set out scope, price, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms. Quotes are valid for the period stated on them.
Template purchases
Templates are digital products licensed for use under our Template Licence. You receive files by email after checkout. The licence tier (single business, multi-site, or commercial) is selected at purchase. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Payment
- Templates, website packages, and fixed-price custom development are paid in full at checkout via Stripe unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Bespoke projects may require a deposit and staged payments as set out in your quote.
- All prices are in GBP unless stated otherwise.
- You are responsible for any taxes or duties that apply to your purchase in your country, where relevant.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate contact details, timely feedback, and content you have the right to use (text, images, logos, and so on). For custom development, you are responsible for providing access, credentials, or third-party accounts only where agreed and necessary. You must not use the site to submit unlawful, abusive, or misleading material.
Intellectual property
For bespoke and package website work, deliverables transfer to you on full payment, except third-party assets, stock resources, and our pre-existing tools or frameworks. Template files remain our intellectual property and are licensed to you — not sold outright. See the Template Licence for permitted uses.
Acceptable use
You may browse the site for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it excessively, probe systems you are not authorised to access, or misuse download links or checkout.
Liability
We provide services with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product or service is limited to the amount you paid us for that product or service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK.
